BIOGRAPHY

Peter Nilsson (born 1976) is one of the most in-demand drummers in Sweden.

His varied and organic playing can be heard in many constellations, including Plunge, The Opposite, Loïc Dequidt Trio/Quartet, Cecilia Persson Kvintett, lim, Anders Nilsson´s AORTA, Ola Hedén Trio and 15,5.

He has also collaborated with Juhani Aaltonen, David Ambrosio, Lotte Anker, Michaël Attias, Raoul Björkenheim, Paul Bley, Magnus Broo, Daniel Carter, Eugene Chadbourne, Palle Danielsson, Marc Ducret, Mats Eilertsen, Lisle Ellis, Peter Epstein, Agustí Fernández, Ken Filiano, Joe Fonda, Michael Formanek, Tomas Franck, Satoko Fujii, Drew Gress, Tim Hagans, Mark Helias, Lindsey Horner, Hilmar Jensson, Roland Keijser, David Liebman, Fredrik Ljungkvist, Tony Malaby, Marilyn Mazur, Joakim Milder, Michael Moore, Lelo Nika, Eivind Opsvik, Severi Pyysalo, Perry Robinson, Sten Sandell, Tommy Smith, Bobo Stenson, Tolvan Big Band, Tomas Ulrich, Miroslav Vitous, Kenny Werner and Lennart Åberg among many others.

Peter appears on more than 40 albums and has toured in over 20 countries.

He is also a part of Kopasetic Productions, a record label and musicians collective based in Malmö.
